Last night, at the Tucson investor party, I was talking with a friend of mine about my first property and her house number nine. I was telling her about how for me, in my mind, I needed to have a certain amount of credit to get started in real estate investing. She said for her, she used the excuse of no time when she had a full time job, and then when she left that job, her reason was not having a job. All of those, while seeming to make sense, are no excuse to not invest.
Where there is a will there is a way. But it takes time and energy to learn about the options available, to track down resources, and make it happen. Investing is not about get rich quick- and although there is a lot of money to be made, it does take work and effort. However, the rewards and your financial future are well worth it.
Stop the limiting thoughts. If you want it, get out there and try, ask questions, and you may be surprised at what opportunities are waiting for you.
Whatever you are ready for is ready for you.
