No Limits Ladies.

I've been sick the past few days. It doesn't happen often, but when I get sick, I'm pretty much down for the count. I've spent my past few days catching up on sleep and TV. I happened to catch Thelma and Louise, one of my all time favorite movies. I can't really describe why, but it strikes a chord with me. (Maybe I'm crazy? Don't answer that...)

Louise at one point states, "We both got what we settled for." At 29, now having experienced enough life to see behind, but still be young enough to look ahead, I find the truth in that statement a powerful warning.

As people we are all wired differently; some need as much security as they can get, forfeiting their lives in exchange for it in many cases; some want it all, are risk takers who live on the edge comfortably, sometimes also forfeiting their lives.

In the next week or so leading up to Halloween and the end of October, which is also Domestic Violence Awareness Month (in addition to Breast Cancer Awareness), I want to talk about the Women's Issues That Scare Me and make me that much more passionate about women becoming financially independent.
